Made in the Quiet Moments

These digital pieces were created in moments of reflection, restlessness, and renewal. Some are rooted in personal narrative, others in imagined worlds, but all are driven by a desire to communicate feeling over perfection. This collection is less about a single style and more about a journey—one that continues to evolve with every new frame.

The Word Made Visible

This series interprets scripture through visual form, turning biblical truth into imagery that speaks beyond words. Created for both apparel and print, each piece reflects themes of faith, endurance, grace, and identity in Christ. The work invites the viewer to see the Word not only as something read, but something lived.

Gilded Origins

Gilded Origins is a digital portrait series centered on form, pattern, and reverence. Drawing from African-inspired textures and symbolism, each piece highlights the strength found in stillness and the elegance of self-possession. Gold elements serve as visual anchors—connecting past, present, and identity—while the compositions remain intentionally restrained, allowing each subject to hold space on their own terms.

Chromatic Studies

This series explores identity through color, pattern, and abstraction. Each digitally drawn and painted portrait leans into bold palettes and layered motifs, allowing emotion and movement to take precedence over realism. Faces are simplified, sometimes obscured, inviting the viewer to engage with presence rather than specificity. Together, these works function as studies in rhythm, contrast, and becoming—identity not as a fixed point, but as something lived, worn, and evolving.

IN BLOOM

In Bloom is a celebration of freedom, softness, and joy. This series centers Black men and boys in moments of ease—frolicking, resting, and existing fully within a vibrant field of flowers. There is no performance and no armor, only laughter, tenderness, and the unapologetic embrace of wonder. These images reclaim play, rest, and gentleness as acts of resistance, affirming that softness is not a weakness but a return to what is human and whole.

The Performance

The Performance explores the quiet cost of pretending. In this work, a smiling mask is held in place while the face behind it carries exhaustion, grief, and unspoken weight. The mask becomes a symbol of expectation—the pressure to appear fine, composed, and unaffected—while the cracks reveal what happens when that performance can no longer hold. This piece sits in the tension between what is shown and what is felt, inviting reflection on the unseen labor of keeping it together.

The Lord Is My Strength

Inspired by Psalm 18, this series reimagines David’s song of deliverance through bold, comic-inspired compositions. Each piece captures the raw force of God as refuge, rescuer, and warrior—earth shaking, heavens breaking, light cutting through chaos. Rendered at poster scale, the work leans into motion, contrast, and epic framing to visualize faith not as abstraction, but as lived experience in the midst of danger, fear, and victory.
