V Foundation

The V Foundation for Cancer Research was founded by ESPN and the late, legendary NC State basketball coach Jim Valvano with a singular mission: to achieve Victory Over Cancer®. Since its founding in 1993, the Foundation has awarded more than $225 million in cancer research grants nationwide, establishing itself as one of the leading supporters of innovative, life-saving research.

While at French | West | Vaughan, I collaborated closely with the Foundation’s marketing and communications team to develop meaningful, impact-driven creative assets across print and digital platforms. This work helped raise awareness, support fundraising efforts, and ultimately empower researchers to continue advancing groundbreaking cancer research.

Website Refresh

I completed a design refresh for the V Foun­da­tion website. With a primary focus on dona­tion aware­ness, the new design not only captured users’ atten­tion to donate with the use of bold, bright graph­ics, but also stream­lined the entire dona­tion page and​ process – making it easier for users to contribute.

 

Apparel Design

I create annual t‑shirt designs for the V Foun­da­tion, which feature inspir­ing brand messages such as ​“Don’t Give Up… Don’t Ever Give Up! ®” and Victory Over Cancer. ® The t‑shirts are avail­able on the V Foundation’s ​“Shop The V” e‑store, which funds cancer research.
